Hey, I’m feeling tired, my time is gone today
You flirt with suicide, sometimes that’s ok
Do what others say, I’m here standing hollow
Falling away from me, falling away from me

Shed a tear cause I’m missing you

People treat us according to what we did in the past, forgetting this same past teaches us to become a better person. When you remember someone for its past, you’re losing a brand new one. You lose an apology, a nice conversation, a chance to make someone’s day. You lose an opportunity of being better than the other’s past.

Ok, stop.
Maybe I’m judging it wrong, but every child I’ve met during this short life didn’t get that sad after realising that daddy was Santa or that an unicorn doesn’t exist in the real world. Children don’t get happy with such truths, but still is quite interesting when they find out the very first truth behind it. Kids are pure and very open minded, they enjoy every little discovery. Actually, it’s when we grow up that we don’t accept things how they are and create real tragedies about it. A child may accept concepts easily and with no proper judgment, but they’re always open to a new point of view; while we, proud of being adults, consider others as stupid or ignorant if they don’t agree with us.
I’m spreading this post only because I totally despise atheists who use overpast ancient Philosophy to explain how the belief in God may be harmful. Blind believers are prejudicial, not the belief itself.
